Ok Brad, ill break it down for ya.

On windows, you can choose to make your own user account so that you can seperate your files, etc from say your parents.

Because the sims is saved on your comp, the game can be played on all of the user accounts.

The trick is, your game actually doesn't overite say the sims game under your sisters account.

Meaning you can have as many different sims games as you like, as long as you have more then one windows user account.

If you still don't get it, I feel bad for you lol!

i still done get it.... lmao so joking!! i knew that b4! i think ?  {rolleyes}

Re: one family per neighbourhood, good or bad?
when you nstall the game it puts an "ea games" folder on your local disk so you can play the game on anyuser you might have
when you open the game it creates another "ea games" folers in "my documents" where all the progress you make during the game is saved
but "my documents" is diffrent for every user on the computer so the date from your game progress is only saved in the user you use

Re: one family per neighbourhood, good or bad?
Well my husband and I share it and we already have it duel loaded with XP and Vista, cause you know some of the games don't play well with Vista... so I don't see him doing that in addition. Besides.. I don't see why they wouldn't have thought of more than one person playing it and let you have "slots". That would stupid on their part I would think. Especially since they have put in 3 yrs on the game.

I think it's would be an okay idea.
I really don't understand what they were saying.
But my mom and brother always bother me that i don't keep up with one family.
I think this would be a really nice thing so now i can be able to be with a family and see what happens to them.
Also with some of the new stuff that's being added i don't think i would actually mind having one family.
It'd be a bit more easier, and maybe even more fun.

Re: one family per neighbourhood, good or bad?
I would say no because people wanted the sims more realistic than just have one house in the noieghborhood I think it would be no fun seeing u just by urself in  a nieghbor hood  with no people. I say that it is a bad idea... No offense
