Does anyone have any connections with people who are good at making forum graphics and the like and could do it for free? I know someone who I'll ask but not sure whether he'll agree though. I'd love to help out and make things for teh forum, if I were any good at it...

Same here. I'm usually rather good with graphics, but with the schedule I have it'd be difficult to get them done in a decent time frame.
