The hard part is waiting...(random post)
I am very excited for the release of ts3 but like most of you, my hugest pitfall is having the patience.
Its been almost four months since the initial announcement and though they have gone by sorta fast, 6-9 months to go seems sooo far away. Its summer here in the us and college is out for me until fall. I've gotten a job, but I still don't have a computer to even play ts2 on ever since water fried my old lappie 6 months ago. I guess once I do get my new comp I will finish buying and installing all the EPs and SPs and then it won't be so bad. Plus AL is comming out too. I've been viewing ts2 BBS and there are so many simmers doubting ts3 saying that the graphics are horrible, not too much has changed, yadda, yadda but I know as soon as it comes out 50% of those knocking ts3 WILL in fact be purchasing it.Hypocrites! ![]() Heck, I know for sure the graphics are going to look even better and us fans are going to be even more blown away. I cannot wait til its in my hands, I'm probably going to play it for two weeks strait! I wish we could get more updates but I understand EAs strict don't ask don't tell policy until they are ready. Thank God we will get another this summer! It would totally be so much easier if we could get random updates all the time but I have a feeling towards the end they will come spilling in and will get us more pumped. Don't you wish you could crawl in a cave and not come out until the day before its released? That way you can get a days worth of oogling all of the screnshots, trailers, and news you slept through and eat all the food you can from hybernating for 6-9 months. Then you'll get full enough again so you can hybernate in your room for weeks while playing the game! New 17" Laptop with wireless printer/scanner combo-$1,400
Sims 3 Pre-order-$70
College Books-$500
Being envied by your friends while they cram for exams and you play TS3- PRICELESS!!!!

Forget Visa, Mastercard, and American Express- it pays to Discover!!!! |

Lol. I Screamed with delight when I read the first articles and joyously bounced around my house.
But Now i'm almost thoughtless about it. I will probably stay like that until we get a nice big update. ![]() It's boring waiting for updates, I'm actually WAY more interested in Apartment Life and just Plain old TS2 right now. ![]() |

Re: The hard part is waiting...(random post)
It seems wierd, but sometimes waiting is better than the actual thing you're waiting for, in a way. Now, I know technically that's not really true concerning Sims games, as they go on for ever, but take a Harry Potter book for example, I miss those days when I was still anticipating DH, and now it's all over, and it's sad...
) but I'm going to enjoy the wait. Just not at this minute, because we still don't have anything. When the release date is closer and we're constantly bombarded with images and videos and interviews and news it'll be a lot of fun and excitement. Right now it's just sluggish and irratating. I can't believe I've been absent from this forum for so many weeks and since then there still hasn't been a single pinch of news.I was browsing the Snooty Sims archive a few weeks ago, and I went back to news in 2003, when everyone was hyped for TS2, rather than TS3. News was a lot more frequent it seems. There is no big gap between the official announcement and the frequent updates. ![]() |

I Know. I miss that....
Not really, I started with TS2 as OFB came out.... But the EP hype is the best! Seasons and pets was great, cause me AND my friend were both super hyper about it...
