At first when I saw the hobo I felt sort sad for the guy although it was funny. Then I got to thinking, the hobo might be telling us that there will be some sort of new types of wealth and poor and maybe social classes.Like your sim can be extremely rich or like the hobo dirt poor. What do ya'll think it means?

well, for one thing I think we will have fun playing with the idea of actually having hobos...maybe with the seamless neighborhood your sim will find a hobo has slept in thier backyard for the night.  Big Grin Anyway, there could be social classes but I'm not going to read that much into it yet until we learn more about TS3.

somehow, i doubt there will be bums.
Trailers always deceive. How hard would it be make a fat sim with low hygiene look through a trash can? You can do it in the sims 2.

Re: I think the hobo in the trailer lets us know that there will be social class
i think there will be because i remember reading from an
article that the town will be divided into social classes or
some sort i guess for example the celebrity in the trailer
would live in the high class while the bum would be in the low
area

I LOST MY SIGNATURE! No, Really I did. Sad

And now you've got it back, along with your Kurt Cobain avatar! ;P

Yeah I think there will be a low class, middle, and upper class in the sims. I think I read it somewheres also about it in a magaziner or online.

Yeah, I agree with Justin. Hobo-like people will be lower-class, the average Sim will be middle-class and our rich, top job Sims will be upper-class. Smile

I Thin kthere will be some kind of social standings. I hated how sims would always react to people the same way. I would like to see a snobby desperate housewife look down on a stay at home mother of 6. Smile

Or make a unique bond with her, and then everyone will be gossiping about them and the desperate housewife's friends will be disgusted in her.

Lol. There are going to be so many possibilities in sims lives now. I's so exciting!

I think iit'll get to the point where there are too many unexpected thing happeneing, and you can't plan sims lives! Smile thats good. we need some unexpectedness now. I can plan a whole life in TS2. ANd it gets a bit boring after a while.... Wink
