Sims 3 ghosts?

hey everyone, I recently brought my grave thing into a ghost i can control, it says hes an elder but hes a ghost and the green bar goes up, im wondering does he die or not? or does he go to heaven or hell?

Playable ghosts behave just like normal Sims, but no they don't die, unless you get them to eat Ambrosia and turn them back into a normal Sim.
