My Sims 3 keeps crashing...

Something I've discovered that could be significant - the latest Flash updates don't appear to agree with the game, so if you try running Sims 3 without shutting down your web browser first the game will crash very soon after trying to load (you won't even get to the intro film of Sunset Valley.

Hmm..I've had my web browser off before and it still crashed. lemme try again and let you know.

I tried playing it WITHOUT having my browser pulled up. It still freezes. should I just uninstall it and reinstall it using my CD?
