anyone else had this problem?!

Now i have the base game loaded and updated, but it's saying it wont connect to the server and it wont let me install expansions yet cause i think there's still a few updates that the base game needs to do but it's not registering them yet...... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So close but yet still so far!!! Any ideas????

Is your internet behaving properly otherwise - is it just the Sims that won't play nice?

Happy to report that it worked and i am back up and simming again =) YAY and to think it was so easy and i found nothing on how to do it that way after months online trying to find a solution. Thank you once again and I'll be seein ya around the forum =)

Of all the weeks you could have chosen to download from Origin, it was the week when The Sims 3 had a patch on top, which wouldn't have helped!
