OK I do blame them. They should really disallow swimwear parties in the colder seasons (unless there's an indoor heated pool I suppose).

Today we start off with a guitar. Jamie had admitted to being a bit of a virtuoso and considering the fact that we would desperately be in need of money, we got a guitar so she could play for tips.

Growing older I had a bit of change in looks.

Kids, they grow up fast these days. Theodore Ray is now a lovely Toddler.

While at the Goth's pool party I decided to make a move on Jamie.

'Oh my!' Jamie exclaimed. 'It's the most shiny and wonderful thing I've ever seen! YES!'

*whispers* Don't tell Jamie the diamonds a fake.

Look at some of Theodore's first steps.

Jamie and the guitar appeared to be getting along well.

Can I just say that this was the best 100 simoleons I've ever spent.

It was Theodore's birthday again and this time I decided to throw a party.

Note to everyone, never throw a large party with a small house.

Jeez, these kids really do grow up fast.

Theodore told me about his creepy imaginary friend and now it's gotten even more creepy as this "thing" watched him pee...

In the heat of the moment I blurred out, "Let's get married, now."

"I mean like right now."

And so we did. Mrs. and Mr. Hope.

Oh and guess who's pregnant again.

In the next update or two things should get much more interesting so stay tuned.

Fake diamonds, drainpipes and imaginary friends watching people go about their bathroom business! Looking forward to the next installment of the Hopes. Your protagonist has come a long way from his lonely life in the tent.

Judging by what I read at TMN today, toilet difficulties appear to be an ongoing problem in TS3 right now. Must be something to do with the last patch.

Does it sound really sad that I was really impressed that Ollie had a drainpipe on his house? I never knew you could get those in the game.

I know, drainpipes are one of the awesome things in the sims 3 that I for one never knew was there.
