Akismet taken off line due to auto-banning of members

First Ollie, next ResidentEvilOutbreak & now new member Kharliah has been affected by the random autobanning which I suspect is down to Akismet.

Although Caspin & Ollie have been doing wonders getting people unbanned almost the moment this happens, the point is any system that does this is in my view far more trouble than it is worth.

There are two other systems in place in the background which merely prevent people from registering if on two different outside blacklists, & we have our own internal one that prevents others that manage to slip through those nets. Let's see how it goes, & my apologies to all those that have been inconvenienced by this.

Almost a month has now passed, & with no more banning incidents, I think it's safe to say we've nailed the culprit & put this problem to bed. So Akismet remains off for good.
