It would appear that EA will let you play The Sims 4 for 48 hours for free! So if you haven't already bought it, are curious to see just how good/bad it really is and are willing to pollute your computer with Origin - have at it!

According to the sims launcher, it's free again for a little while. This reeks of the ugly perfume of desperation.

Oh dear, what a shame! They must track how many people have a go when it's free but then don't bother to buy it afterwards. Presumably the conversion rate makes it worth doing this. Or not. Sad, though, isn't it.
