Re: Sims's looks.
The sims themselves don't look that much better than sims 2, and I didn't really expect them to, but the point is, they have different facial expressions and animations from all their traits.  We just haven't seen them in action yet.

Re: Sims's looks.
I think that the graphics of the people looked a bit unfinished... but, in a good way. I think that the graphics are going to improve exponentially from what we see now to the actual release of the game.

I thought that the Asian sims looked quite good... Or, at least, a huge improvement from Sims2. I've been trying since day 1 to create a decent Asian sim, and was never successful. It pleases me, because it seems as though there will actually be diversity among the sims now... All my sims look exactly alike right now, but seems like it will be possible to have different ethnicities ad the like now.

Re: Sims's looks.
I think they've got the graphics of the sims just right.
They're about as realistic as they can get, whilst still  being cartoon-like, which is what makes the sims what it is.

Re: Sims's looks.
I can't put my finger on it yet, but the sims in TS3 look.... pudgy. Their faces just aren't as slim as TS2 faces (even if they are size 0). This definitely won't affect if I buy the game or not, but still.

Re: Sims's looks.
I think the looks, are awesome!
I have seen pictures about it, and it looks so great. The details are good, they look real to my opinion. And I have seen a picture (It is displayed at my topic:'Sims 3 Pictures' http://www.sims3.com/index.php?topic=5.0) with a livingroom on it : it almost looks real! With that light coming into the room.

Very good! ;D

Re: Sims's looks.
Hopefully they'll get particle effects, aniostropy, and HDR lighting going well.  Those sort of things will force people to upgrade but will make the game look awsome.  I'm happy with what I've seen so far, would love to see two screen-shots next to eachother of basically the same scene, one from Sims 2 the other from 3.

I don't know, I think I want to see some other pictures first. So far, the Sims themselves look okay.  Big Grin
