Aargh this is driving me INSANE!!!

Hey fellow simmers. I recently got BV for Easter and so I've been playing it a lot lately. I deleted the Pleasants and the Brokes. I didn't feel like playing them. So I got Nina and Don together, Mortimer (who died yesterday  :'() and Dina, and Cassandra and Darren together.I had them have a couple of kids each, but they're ALL GIRLS! Here's their names and a little about them

Don and Nina's Kids

Amy - Twin of Sarah.
Sarah - Twin of Amy.
Melissa - 3rd child. (couldn't find anything about her)
Jenna - Child of Grimmy.

Mortimer and Dina's Kids

Demortimer - Twin of Larissa
Larissa - Twin of Demortimer
Jerrica - Last child (Dina and Mortimer woohooed 10 minutes before Mortimer died)

Cassandra and Darren's Kids

Jared - Child from Social Bunny (Born before BV so I think this all-girl thing is a BV issue)
Sandy - Child from Grimmy.
Ashley - 1st child with each other. (Darren gave birth to)

Any help? Is it a glitch or am I going insane? Hoorays available!

I use to save when the pregnant sim is about to give birth. If the baby then is a girl and I want a boy, I just leave the lot without saving and load it again until she gives birth to a boy.

I tried that once and gave up. I guess my sim was REALLY determined to have a girl.

It works, but often you'll have to try over and over again.  ;D

LOL this maybe bad taste but I LOL when I read the "10 mins before Mortimer died". At least he died happy!
