townies

I'm wondering about the role of townies in the game. Here's some of my questions:

Are townies still going to have imaginary residences? They will be marrying and having children, but will they still live in some 4th sim dimension? Also, I hope that we'll be able to ask if they're single and whatnot. That could get confusing.

Since in the new game, there is no more disappearing off the face of the earth for your sims. Will it be the same for townies? Will all townies have houses?

What do you guys think?

I don't like the way in TS2, people just come and you might never see them again or they don't actually live anywhere

I think townies will be having houses now. They'll be just like our Sims, living with us in the town, the only difference being is, we didn't create them ourselves. I think the townies will be a lot more involved in our Sims' lives now.

Well, I don't know for sure lol. This is just my guess, but it seems this way to me. I'm pretty sure I read something in a magazine that made me think that townies will have a more important role this time round. But I'd be pretty happy to have townies be more important this time, as long as they're not all ridiculously ugly like they are in TS2, and don't all carry names such as "Goopy GilsCarbo". :

Yes there's quite a few little things we know, nothing huge yet, except the seamless 'hood. Which is what we're all hoping for, some big news.
Once you've read everything we know is going to be in the game so far you'll get even more excited! I can't say there's anything in particular that has let me down yet! ;D
