So what are going to be the system requirements for Sims 3?

??? I have a Core2Duo E6600 with an 8800GTS. It's quite good in Sims 2 but not really totally smooth.

Will there be any performance changes? Will there be a new or improved graphics engine? How much RAM / CPU / Graphics will  I really need to play Sims 3 at 1680*1050?

I hope it's not going to be released before Q1, 2009. It's about then that I will be able to afford a PC upgrade.

Lucky you!! Ive just bought a new graphics card which should be able to cope, Sims 2 looks amazing on my pc now, but a whole year, system specs for most games will be a lot higher than they are now.

I remember when my computer was amazing.
Now its just lagging behind.
By next year, I'll be ready for an upgrade.
Hopefully it's not too big of an upgrade, because I'll still have to afford the game!
