Guys, you've gone so far off topic I can barely see it anymore! I know you folks enjoy your crazy talks, but would you mind trying to keep it on topic outside the 'off topic' section?!

Sorry to sound like I'm nagging (which, I suppose, I am), but within the actual Sims sections of the forums, it really should stay on topic when possible. Maybe if you start to go off on a tangent, just start a new topic within the 'off topic' forums and post a link to it so the initial topic of conversation can continue? (can I say 'topic' any more time in one sentence?!  ???)

Hope that sounds reasonable and that I'm not coming across too harsh, I'd just like to keep these forums tidy

Okay...I'd just like to point out that it feels like this topic has already been discussed. I mean, the point was to let people know about Apartments, and I feel that part is finished. Everyone who wanted to respond to it has, so... But I can understand where you're coming from, and we'll try our very best.

I agree with what you're saying Bambi, but as the topic has finished being discussed any new replies that are not about the original topic will push the thread to the top of the page and will display the thread as having new posts. Therefore people who come back to the forum will see that since their last visit there have been new replies, they'll check the post expecting a reply based on the original topic but will instead see an off topic reply.

I hope that makes sense  ??? and again I hope I'm not coming across as picky.

And yes, I realise the irony of me discussing this in this thread, therefore going totally against what I've just said  :-\

No, he's perfectly right in wanting to keep the on-topic sections on-topic. We just got a bit carried away with the randomness, that's all. We'll try to relocate all off-topic conversations to where they belong from now on.

I think you were complaining about it IN the off-topic section...so it didn't make much sense then.
