If ts3 came out tommorow...
Would you be ready for it?
This thread was not meant to trick anyone into thinking it will be comming out sooner then we think, or tommorow! Now that that's cleard, I wanted to hear from you all what you thought if the game was released tommorow. A lot of us are impatient, waiting for more advertisement etc. And it makes me think that if they did give us all the info at once, and did release the game, would you want to play it so soon with all the kinks? Not to mention I don't even have the computer I want to play it on. As much as I would like to, 60- 70% of a game isn't something I would want to spend $50 on. I have yet to see teens, kids, toddlers etc. Cars and videos and I guess I'm willing to wait and see them before I buy. I'm not lecturing anyone, that is why I'm asking you. If it were in stores tommorow, would you buy it, and why? If not, how come? And what would you like to see more of? Re: If ts3 came out tommorow...
No, I would never purchase it until it was fully, 100% finished. Yes, I'm impatient for updates, but I'm not impatient for the game. I can wait for that, it's okay.
![]() Who would want only 60/70% of the game? All I'd be thinking while playing is, "What am I missing out on here?", and some things wouldn't work out right because they're not completed. It would be a complete mess. And I want to be certain of what I'm buying before I do so. I'm 99.9% certain this game will rule us all, but it still pays to be sure.

No matter how much I want the game to come out, I would never buy it unless it's as complete as it can be.

Re: If ts3 came out tommorow...
If it came out tomorrow... I'd be disappointed.
Even if the game was 100% finished, I'd be disappointed. I like waiting a year or so for the game to come out, I really do. I love getting excited about things which are a while away from me. Like, I'm very excited about TS3 now, and I can't wait until it comes out... But I WANT to wait. If it came out tomorrow I'd be sat here thinking "Oh... That's kind of cool... Yeah... Let's play on it then", but if I waited a year or whatever for it to come out, when I got it I'd be like "YAY! I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS! WOO!" Waiting for the game is more exciting then just have it come out the next day. But then again, that's just me... You probably all think I'm a freak. ![]() |

Re: If ts3 came out tommorow...
I would buy it, the game is never 100% finished when they release it.
Otherwise there would be no patches. And as to why I would buy it. I am addicted to playing Sims. ;D |

Re: If ts3 came out tommorow...
I wouldn't buy it. I dont' want my first experience with the sims to be "Why isn't this working??? Ahh, my computer!"
I'll just wait for it to come, and then I'll have time to get a decent computer. |

Re: If ts3 came out tommorow...
Everyone is getting new computers, I'm nervous for mine now... it should be okay. I got it in August last year, it's top-of-the-range. Will it still be top-of-the-range in '09? I don't know much about this kind of thing. It's supposed to have double the space of most computers. :-\

Re: If ts3 came out tommorow...
I think I'm gonna get a laptop right now so I can travel and do school work on the go, and then I think I will get a desktop a few months before the game is released, ill get a good enough lappie to run all of ts2 games smoothly. That way I can play until the new game comes out, and then ill only load Ts3 on the desktop so I will have all the space I need.

Re: If ts3 came out tommorow...
If the ts3 came out tomorrow and it were to be 100% completed, I would buy it despite the fact that I have a laptop and it probably doesn't have a video card to support the graphics. Hahahaha. But if its completely finished with no glitches, bugs, etc. Why not?
