Hospital?

The building in this screenshot sure looks like a hospital. What are your thoughts??? ???

i really hope they make a hospital, then that would mean that preg sims would be able to go. i'd be so cool to call the hospital wen in labor and drive to the hospital!! also the idea of a medicine/doctor career would be available too.

i think it is a hospital for the medicine/doctor career and maybe when youre sims are pregnant
they go in i think its just a loop hole since they're most lightly putting in the careers to it

people have been saying that since the first pics of TS3 were released
unfortunatly we can't know anything for certin until EA would say it and they haven't given us any information in over a month
they did say that there are no decoration buildings and that buliding looks a lot like a hospital so lets keep our fingers crossed

All the buildings are usable, none are props. But yes, people have been saying this since the pictures were released. It will be a hospital, but what it's used for is unknown. It could only be useable for careers, but hopefully it can be used for pregnancies and injuries too.

Excellent point! Although when they say you can interact with all the buildings, disappearing into them is sort of an interaction.

I doubt EA would do that though. I think hospitals will be a much bigger part of a sims life.

well its been confirmed that it is a hospital
but like cassie said..we dont know if its only a career loophole or if there is more use to it
i would love if pregnancies took place there..at the very least.

well that most definitely is a hopital.
i kinda hope sims can get injuries. clumsy sims could be more prone to tripping and such (oh no! i'm a clumy sim!)

and this is irrelevant, but the building next to it looks like some sort of fast food chain!!!

I think the building next to it is a diner. Probably similar to Red's Famous 50's Diner from downtown.

By the way, I hope that some buildings are closed at night. The diner and hospital could be open all night. But things like government offices, regular stores, and the school shouldn't be. The coffee shop could be open pretty late though.

Yeah, I could imagine Sims popping into a diner after a late night working or for other reasons, I don't know, but I'd get a good feeling from it, I've seen it in the films. I'm going to enjoy making my Sims wake up in the middle of the night and take a stroll in the dark, when there's almost nobody is around. Hey, there's a thought... say a Sim always goes to the same diner/fast food or wherever for lunch every weekeday at the same time - do you think that the owner/employee (or whoever serves there) would begin to recognise when that Sim will arrive? And maybe if Sims order the same food often, the employee could know to get the 'usual' ready for the regular customer Sim at whatever particular time. Can you understand that? Sorry if you can't, it's rather confuzzling. And the worker and the regular customer Sim could strike up a bit of a friendship.
