Poll: Do you think this movie is a good idea?
Of course! Anything involving Sims is wonderful.
Sure, it\'ll be fine, I suppose.
Eh, I\'ll watch it. But I don\'t expect it to be great or anything.
It might be okay, but I don\'t think I\'d go see it.
I just don\'t think it\'s worth it. I\'ll save my money.

Re: The Sims Movie (2009)
True. So I bet the movie will be geared toward tweens...like I said.

Re: The Sims Movie (2009)
Well, everyone has opinions, the world would be boring without them, wouldn't it? I just have to trust my instincts, I suppose. That, or slap them with trout fish, whichever. Tongue

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But I can understand how you would feel kind of outnumbered. Sorry. Sad

I voted "Eh, I'll watch it. But I don't expect it to be great or anything."

Typically, and sadly, movies made based off of video games (and yes sims is a video game) tend to SUCK horribly. But I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It sounds like a spin off of that Jim Carey movie, where he eventually figured out that his ... The Truman Show! roflĀ  but yeah, that he found out everything that happened to him or that he did was being watched and monitered and sometimes even controlled.

They're just revising the cast, changing the plot slightly, and tossing it back out into theaters as "The Sims", which in itself is a HUGE marketing industry; they know there are a BUNCH of sims fans out there who will go to see the movie, even if they hate it, several times simply because it's the sims.

Re: The Sims Movie (2009)
That is true, it will attract people to see it many times, just because it's 'The Sims' - whether it's awful or not. The quality of the film doesn't matter in their eyes, just the fact that it's 'The Sims' will attract enough popularity for this film. That's just the way life is, unfortunately.

Re: The Sims Movie (2009)
Oh, that's for certain. Like I said before, they're really going to milk it for all it's worth.
