well ya know how you can register like this website or any fansite as a fansite on the sims2.com well i think we should do that it might get this website noticed more by other fans and mabey evan EA staff member *wink*

I'm sure EA noticed this site because in the beginning this site was dubbed thesims3.com but they had to change it so I know they know we exist. And this is pretty much just a forum (hence the name)

Yea, I wish it happened! Do you know how exactly that happened? Did the forums have to pay for a new domain or what?

Nope, I have no information on what happened with the domain, I guess too many people were complaining that they thought it was the official forums because the domain was too close to the official site one (:

Yea, thats actually how I found out about the forums - from people complaining about it on the BBS. They were saying stuff like, "God forbid a kid enters in personal info!!!" Which I think is ridiculous because absolutely nothing personal is required for this site.

But yea, I remember lurking on here for a few weeks. I would read the threads and really want to say something, but was too lazy to register. Finally I broke down.
