RE: Would you ever?
What a sad thought! I don't like the idea but I expect I probably have a very strong survival instinct - so the answer is probably yes. I'd be torn up about it afterwards though.

RE: Would you ever?
Not if I could help it.
I've walked through plenty of fields with cows, although I would avoid doing so in Wiltshire, given the spate of tramplings there. Would you ever ride a bull in a rodeo-type place? |

In this weather, don't tempt me! I had one for years. The problem is if you let your hair grow longer again, it goes really weird & curly!

RE: Would you ever?
I have tried making my own furniture (sort of) but it wasn't especially successful. When I was a graduate student I was very low on funds. My family gave me their old TV when mine broke because they wanted a new one anyway. Theirs was bigger than the portable one I'd had before, so to fit it into my accommodation I needed some kind of stand or cabinet to put it on. I had no money for such purchases so made a structure out of planks of wood I took out of a skip. The outcome was very sturdy but looked horrific even after a coat of random white paint that I found next to a bin. But hey - recycling! I was secretly rather proud of it.

RE: Would you ever?
Yes, I climbed a number of actual mountains in my youth and I've climbed a few metaphorical ones since!
