l remeber when my sims were so poor, they couldn't afford a pizza. The delivery girl got so mad..

I made a poor sim to see what happens, and they left the pizza even when the Sim couldn't pay for it.
The house was empty,and there was nothing for any maid to take. lol

With the new neighborhood system, it seems quite feasible that we could follow them to work. If we do, I'd rather not control them, just let them do what they need to do while I watch the family back home.

Sims need credit, and simple bank accounts.

Maybe if they couldn't afford to pay the maid at one point, she takes away their $8000 television. Then they wouldn't have to pay the maid next time she cleaned, because SHE's the one that owes them.. about 7,900 dollars.

they don't leave the lot, they just turn invisible. otherwise you couldn't max motives them.
