So I read in one of the articles that a little after the game is released theres going to be an add on for more building features in the game.What do you think about that..?I think they need to include everything once the game is complete and this would be a good time to put as much as possible in the game why it's not complete now.Since there not completely done I think they can include everything so the EP or add on can be totally new and original.

Wouldn't it make more sense (an be cheaper for the poor customers) to put it in the first EP.

Or put it in the basegame (that would be more convenient)

cause an add on just a little bit later seems rather stupid.......

I heard that shortly after the release of The Sims 3, there will be an addon available in the shops which allows you to create your own neighbourhood. Apparently you won't be able to create new neighbourhoods until you've bought this addon. Almost like an EP.

I posted a thread about it on the sims 2 uk forums and there were alot of people saying that its true. Sad

Yeah so will I but I think its quite pathetic, I mean, we didn't have to buy an EP woth TS2.

but i guess it's maybe because in the sims 3, creating a neighbourhood is a much bigger task than in the sims 2.
In my opinion its just EA trying to get as much money from us as possible.

Just EA being the greedy things they are these days, I suppose. But still, I'll be buying it. It's like you said, woohoosimz3, there could be a lot more to creating neighbourhoods, it seems to me a lot more complex. We don't even know how much the neighbourhood creator tool is going to cost yet. My bet is more than it should.

{no} I by all means is most certainly not a game designer but,I don't think it should be that hard to put there 'add on' into the base game.There ridiculous ploy to scam to steal our money straight from our wallets is going to be there downfall.If they keep up with there ridiculous schemes us Sims fans might have too show Maxis why there all the hype.

They just want more money and it may be simple stuff. I may get it depending on what it is. I am not really a huge builder, so my chances of getting it are slim to none anyways.

It's all about the money.

They know how badly you want something, they will leave stuff out, and make claims that "there just wasn't enough room/time/interest in order for us to include this/these feature(s)".
