Another Question! Help Please. :D
My computer's internet connection is going crazy {no}, so I can't download anything on my computer that has the Sims 2 installed on it. Is there a way I can download content on another computer in my house and transfer it using a USB Drive, a CD ... etc. ??  {vanish}

Re: Another Question! Help Please. :D
I think if you download the Sims2Pack and transfer that with a USB drive and click the Download CC in the Downloads folder of your Sims computer that it should go. Smile

Re: Another Question! Help Please. :D
Sims2Pack files are the downloads you download on thesims2.com

And meshes and clothes and other CC from outside thesims2.com places should also work. Smile

Re: Another Question! Help Please. :D
I think Sims2Packs are specific to thesims2.com, but any file type should work. When you have the CC you want, just put it on the CD or jump drive and move it to your other computer. Put the files in the Downloads folder and you should be good to go! Smile

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with. Smile

Re: Another Question! Help Please. :D
downloads folder?  {blink}

EDIT: I just downloaded sims2packs from TSR.com and once I got them onto my computer with Sims 2 installed, I double clicked on them to install the custom content, and once it said "Do you want to install the following content, I pressed "ok" and then it automatically says "The custom content was sucessfully installed" but when I go to the actual game, my custom content isn't there ,  ???

Re: Another Question! Help Please. :D
Meaning the Downloads folder for TS2. Smile Just copy and paste the files from the jump drive or CD into the folder you'd normally download the CC in. Does that make more sense? Smile
