He just means there is a while to go until the release - if it is still going to be released in March it's around...7 or 8 months now, so there is still a while to wait - so whilst we are waiting, they will share new stuff with us.

It means while we wait they'll give us some info over the course of some months before the release date next year.
So it'll help us see how much of a big difference things are,and what's new when it comes to TS3.

To me, if you think about it, TS3 is close in a way. It's mid August now and I think August is going to be slow for me because the holidays are still slugging by and I've got another 3 weeks to go yet and I'm bored already.
But when September comes I think 2008 is just going to fly by, seriously It doesn't seem that long ago that it was March and the forums were shiny new, yet that was, what, 5 months ago? There's less the 5 months until it's 2009! And when it gets to 2009, TS3 will feel closer than ever and we'll be much better at waiting, I think.

Sorry I didn't answer your question btw but Mike and Pixie already answered it perfectly and I just wanted to give everyone some confidence that TS3 isn't too far off. {yes}

i wanted to be sure 'cause the way its translated in dutch it says that it will be hard to have a game launch next year. "although it a launch will be hard" thats the exact translation.

well than i guess the translator didn't understand it well
it does sound like a weird sentence to someone who speaks english as a second lang...

yes...
but they can come to good use
i personally love subtitles the translation is so diffrent from the original i found it very funny
it can get very weird sometimes (once they translated sweet instead of sweat or they translate the wrong day)

actually i miswrote the sentence (have a lot on my mind) , the "good" translation was: "although a launch next year will be hard. "
thats what it says in dutch, dutch sentence: "Hoewel een lancering volgend jaar moeilijk zal worden"
