Sims 3 Offspring/Skintones ?!

Hey !!
So now that were going to have all these skin tones possible what do you guys think will happen when a kid is born ?! Like lets say a tanned man marrys a fair skinned lady and they have 3 kids .. do you guys think all 3 kids will have the same skin tone or will each be different ?? Like tones anywhere on the bar between the fairness of the mum and browness of the dad???

**In the behind-the-scenes video, near the end, it shows a family in the kitchen .. the brother is teasing his sister .. now i noticed that the dad is quite dark and the mum is fair .. it wasnt very clear, but it seemed that the little boy is a few shades darker then the teenage sis, though not as dark as his dad ?? what do you guys think ??

I think that this game has a better sense of genetics, so skintones may range in between the darker parent and the lighter parent.

But...

I think that it may also be the same...some kids having the same skin tone as one of the parents.  Like in TS2, if a black and white person have a baby together, the baby would sometimes be as white as the white parent, or as dark as the black parent.  Then there were those kids who were in between.  So I think that it will be based on randomization still.

i'm excited about this!
since there is so many possibilities because of all
the new customizations and skintones instead of
always being able to tell what your sims offsprings are gonna
look like in terms of eyes, skintone etc. you could come up
with a different looking sim that what you expected!
it keeps the mystery alive and always keeps you wondering
and wanting to play even more!

I know, after a while sims 2 got so boring, there was no surprises !! cant wait for sims 3 !!

I can't wait for this too.

I want to mix so many tones. I'm excited to make Asian, Russian sims and mix them up to see what the offspring will look like.

I remember seeing that on the first screens.

You can now name what your Sims are and it seems now they will actually look like it. Like a Hispanic with olive skin will probably look like someone of Spanish decent.
