in the pic there are sims protesting about jellyfish {lol} why are they doing that?

maybe they think it's a threat

That's a huge posibility. Maybe they can't swim, but maybe they can wade, or fish and they've been getting stung.

Or maybe its the reason you can't swim in it and by saving the town we can open the option for the beach to open.

Maybe the city is polluting water, by dumping waste in it and they want them to stop, because it is hurting the jellyfish.

Or maybe it is being added to a menu as a food item and people don't want to eat it.
