Having a car and driving options

Is the driving options goin to change?
like if you want to take a spin in your car...a map pops up and you trace where you want to drive around in the town...and visiting neighbors or family across town...do they park on the street..blocking traffic..or will their be an area in the driveway to park

thats true, i wish we could actually
drive the car around town to where
you want your sim to go. my dad was
dissapointed when in nightlife you couldn't
drive the car. lol. {wacko}

I was mad tooo...I was thinnking about simcity..where you can drive anywhere around the town..lol...but the sims nitelife was a whole different story...well atleast with the sims 3....you can watch your sims drive around

I wish i could answer your questions, but I do not remember the answers in detail. I've read articles about driving some time back....and now I dont know where i read them. If only the official site had more Info on their site...instead of everywhere else -_-. let me think a bit more....I do remember reading that they will have a map of the town..and you can pin point where you want your sim to go. The rest is fuzzy.....i think the cars fade out once they r in the lot home drive way...but im not to sure about parking lots that are in town *shrug*.

i wish that the walking technique...was like the sims2 on the consoles...lol..but that seems as a waste....i dont mind the point and click

But maybe you take sure sim downtown or something...they might wonder themselves...like if they see there friends..they just walk over there and have a conversation with them
