Yeah I like elections too, kinda of like the October video of the presidental canidates - where one sim could rally up a few for their party while the other who is running for mayor on the opposite side of town is having their own rally.

And then you can have some of your sims, who are journalists on each end getting the cover story to put in the paper about it.

It would be cool if you work for the newspaper, and it says "Evan is tired but he wants to get his article finished before the deadline" and their is thought bubble above his head, of a computer; and he just goes to his computer and works away.
