BTW my students say that Microsoft 7 will go by unnoticed by them. They will stick with XP. They think Seven will be another Vista. Unusable for the pros. I did not object. I trust my students. I'll stick with the XP Version as well. By the way have you noticed that it's easier to install Windows on a Mac than on a PC. And the best thing is XP is totally stable on my Powerbook. Wasn't stable at all on my PC though.

haha windows 7 isnt vista at all. Windows 7 uses less power than windows xp so thats dum what your students say .
windows 7 is very very fast and its built on server 2008.

I would love to try it. I went on the webpage, but heard the beta is for developers or businesses or something like that.

I wonder if you somehow got to try it? That would be really cool.

Download it. its just 2gb

1. Burn the iso to a DVD-R useing a ISO Burner ect. ( Dont touch the iso with win-raw)
2.put the cd in the comp
3. make sure you write down the cd key on a paper ( you will get the cd key when you click download and fill in the infomation)
4. install useing upgrade or clean
5. Yaaa you have a Faster Os for sims3

Do you have to reinstall your drivers or anything like that.

Like for example, if you do an reinstall of XP, you have to find and reinstall the driver files and stuff?

When you install windows 7 it will install drivers for you and you have to download sound drivers off windows update ;P

but i think you should dual boot it Smile

Can I just quickly say that you should never install a beta operating system on your home computer unless you really know what you're doing and you don't mind it breaking!

Beta software almost always comes with issues (that's why it's in beta) so things are likely to not work correctly or at all. As Julzz (ÐÑÐ»Ð¸ÑÑ ÎÎ¯Î¼Î±Î¹ Smile

) said, dual booting is an option, but again only if you're sure you know what you're doing.

And don't forget that installing the Windows 7 beta will mean that when it's released, it will probably stop working unless you pay for the released version, or at least they will stop supporting it.

Just a word of warning, but Windows 7 does look good!

Windows 7 beta doesn't have much bugs.

its very stable to me, Microsoft said there going to add more tweaks and speed boosts and less dick hog apps and more features so Don't worry

Yeah, I have a few extra PCs to try it on that could probably run it. I may do it, or I may just wait for the real one to come out, and give it a try on a PC. (They aren't ancient, but not as good as my two favorites, which I don't do nothing on...really one)

Like what is Windows 7 like so far?

And what is it's estimated release date, like on CD?
