when i go into veronaville and load the family that i created it crashes while it's loading. i can't figure out what's wrong. PLEASE help me!! Thank you.

It says that the application crashed and it will terminate.

Mine always did that, I just uninstalled it and it went away.
If you don't want to go to that extreme, ask someone else here cause I'm not the most technical person - I assure you

Have you downloaded the patches from sims2.com

As the same thing happened to me when it first came out and once pathces were on it was fine.

A lot of things could be wrong. You either have to reinstall, download the patches, maybe you don't have enough memory, or maybe it is just corrupt right there.

Sometimes a lot just becomes bugged, does this happen on all lots and hoods or just one.
If the answer is one lot, move the family out and delete the house. You can then move them into a new place.
If it only happens in one hood and not the others, it is the hood that is bugged. It it is an original hood you can replace it with the original one, it just means that you have lost all of your progress and you begin again.
