Help!!!! How do I get my Sims to stop speaking Spanish and Speak English????

  {unsure} I'm new to playing the Sims2 and everything is in English, game case, manual, and instructions when playing the game.........but my Sims are all speaking Spanish and I need to know how to change it b/c I have no idea what they're saying!!!!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

They speak Simlish,
You can't change it

hi your sims arent speaking spanish they are speaking simlish which is a language made up and mixed with different languages and sometimes you can kind of tell what they are speaking by the picture that appears in their thought bubbles which is like a speech bubble that appears over their head with pictures in them instead of words.I hope this helps and welcome to playing the sims 2,I hope you have fun playing just as much as i do.If you need any help with anything else im sure you will get it cause there is bunch of people here that knows about sims 2 problems and other stuff.
