You can't, really.  I don't think ...

I mean, you can assign their aspiration and personality and all that, but I don't recall for sure if they stay that way, or get changed once you make them a Townie.  I'll have to find of my pre-made townies and see lol

I always cringed when I made my SimSelf. I find the whole process embarassing for some bizarre reason..
