How did you find out about the sims 3?

I think I first heard about it on snooty, too. It was when this first magazine article came out... I was looking for scans of the article and somehow it got me here. The forums address was sims3.com back then.. ahh the good ol' days xD

I first found out about the game when i saw some slideshows on youtube that everyone said was fake so then i decided to look it up on google and then i saw a little bit of info about the sims 3 and i started to hyperventilate  {highclap}and i was so happy!

I found out about it first in the games for windows and the pc gamer articles in february of last year. I remember I was sooooo excited. I made little lists of all the new features, etc. Im not exactly sure how I got here, but I do remember when it was called sims3.com haha.
At first I didn't like the way the sims looked either. I thought they looked like the sims from the console games, but now I think they look great.

yeah the reason it apeals to me so much is because u can walk around and stuff like that

ya, it appeals to me because of walking around, its more customizable, and the traits thing is cool too.  Plus I think a lot of new and fun little stuff will have been added to make gameplay even more fun.  And of course driving cars around will be fun

well when i bought my game it said "SIMS 3 COMING IN 2009" lol

February was the first time TS3 was mentioned on SnootySims, so that's probably when I heard it too.
When I'm bored I liked to read the archives over there when they were waiting for TS2. It's funny. But they got so much more news than what we do now...
