Why is EA notifying of the game so early?
I think they still have some minor touching up to do but I think it's going to come out earlier then that because they just don't announce that early.

Thats what Ive been thinking about, but I have doubts that it will be released earlier, because if its that release date they announced then thats probably how long they need to finish up the game. I personally think they need more time, and to be honest they can have all the time they want in order to make this game perfect

Agreed. I'd rather have them make a good game than rush to meet some arbitrary release date.

'Cause they want you to get pumped. It's like when people show movie trailers LONG before they come out. Besides, think of Sims 3 as the NEw Year of 1999. They were entering a new milinium. The Sims 3 is similar to hardcore Sims fans. (Like moi)

Maybe they want to see what we want most in the game and try to put it in??

well if u look at spore then an early announcement means nothing...they've been talking about it for years now and it's only being released this year. i hope we'll be luckier with the sims 3 though, i can wait a year but not 3....

Although that is all well, I would prefer the game to come with no bugs at all.

Coming Soon...

Re: Why is EA notifying of the game so early?
Well they have been working on it for 2-3 years I think and it's not coming out unitl 2009. But the later the game comes out the better it will be. A no bug start would be nice.

I’ll have something creative here you’ll see..
