Preteens

Something I never got on The Sims 2 is the ages. There's baby, toddler, kid, teenager, young adult(Depending on if you went to college), and adult. Something was left out. See, I would think there should be preteens or tweens or whatever. Preteens would have the liberty of going on dates and kissing(Unlike kids), but can't drive and stuff. Plus, they could have a temporary lifetime aspiration that sticks with them 'till they're a teen('Cause, you know, kids change their minds quickly...), and their wants are that of a teenagers. They can also cook Mac 'n Cheese, and Spaghetti and they don't need a babysitter(Curse that nanny... all the destruction she causes.). So, Preteens would have some liberties and some restrictions. And I guess they could gossip unlike kids.

that seems kool, but it woulda made the sims live even longer, people woulda got bored very fast i guess

Great idea!!! But they should have a a another age to the adults too.
Like 40-55, so they doesnt get old with a toddler in a house.

I don't think that would work.Plus the kids are sort of like preteens anyways.I think young adults should be included in the base game and they can go where ever instead of being trapped at the university.

Well, no, actually, the kids act like 8-11 years old. I was thinking preteens would act more... teenish. Not so kiddish. And maybe it could get boring having your sims live too long, but I don't think so. It would be like going to college 'cept... not.

True, I'd love to have preteens, then teens. The whole "crush-date" option would be awesome.
