I already had sims 2 but when i found out there was gonna be a sims3 i had to have it. Wen it came i wanted to put i on my laptop along with all my other sims games but it didn't work so un installed all my other sims games to put on sims 3. that didn't work.

i put it on my computer upstairs that worked but it started freezing on the opening. i needed more memory.

Once i got new memory i started to play on it but wen i did i found out im not a huge fan of sims 3 at all!! its still on my computer but ive started again on sims 2 on my laptopo again ive decided not to put any expansion packs on for the time being.

Is there a reason to this post? It stops rather abruptly. Did you not finish your post? I advise hitting 'modify' and finishing your story if there's more to it, otherwise this is a rather ... unnecessary dead-end post.

As it stands, it just states you had the sims 2 but wanted the sims 3 also. The title suggests there's more to this story. Care to share it?

Ah, that makes so much more sense!!! LOL

And you're not alone. It looks like a LOT of people are going back to TS2 because TS3 just wasn't what they expected at all. It might be different since the first Expansion Pack is being released soon, but we'll see.

I always said I wasn't getting TS3, then I said if I do get it, I'm not getting it for a while because I'm interested, but not so to the point that I must have it. Now, I think I'm back to the point where I just don't care to get it ever. I think I may stick to my TS2 Smile

Well I'm not getting it, but after seeing gameplay I'm glad I didn't get it tbh. Because I know I'd miss TS2 so much!

I really wish they would have kept the graphics and game play most like TS2, but just added all of the cool bonuses like in TS3 - seamless n'hoods, the amazing customization ... tbh I think TS3 looks way more cartoony than TS2 ... But I love how you can customize everything from hair layers, to skin tones, to eye color and even clothes and furniture!

But I just wish they would have kept it LOOKING like TS2.

YES! I just hate how the sims don't look real, while some of my sims look almost like a person. I guess when more EPs and CC come out that might change though..

it looks so wired. when u go out and they go into a shop you have to wait outside. when you want to create a new family it overrides the one that's ongoing?

It doesn't Override anything... Just go to "Edit Town" Under options and click on create a family
then move them in and you have the choice to play any family.

I couldn't stand the rabbit holes. Just waiting for a sim to finish what they're doing and not being able to see what they're doing is a real let down. Sad

The sims in it look...cartoonish.

I went back to TS2 after not playing it for two and a half months.

Yay for TS2! x3
