Liverpool and Hearts were both lucky at times, but I still can't see past Liverpool taking a trophy this year. They look the part whilst all the other Premier sides bar Arsenal and Swansea still look like they need a close season, & Arsenal always have their traditional 1 month crisis a season to take account of.

Interesting the whole Sir Cliff business. There was an old mate of mine in the biz that couldn't stand him, said he & the Shadows were hypocrites that nobbed off endless groupies whilst acting whiter than white. The current accusation is a bit of a surprise. What I also noticed was the BBC dropping the Top Of The Pops 1979 reruns for the last three weeks, when they would have been obliged to show Cliff at No.1 with "We Don't Talk Anymore" (his biggest hit would you have it?). Along with the BBC covering the police raid on his house, this does suggest some collusion between the Met & the BBC greater than is being admitted to.
