What is the difference between the Sims 3 and the Sims 3 Deluxe Package?

What is the difference between the Sims 3 and the Sims 3 Deluxe Package? Both are available at Wal-Mart

Also will the Sims 3 have expansion packs? I dislike expansion packs. I'd rather just buy the entire set in one package.

Hi Kaleigh, the Sims 3 Deluxe is just the base game and the Sims 3 Ambitions game packaged together.

They released this as Ambitions has proven to be the most popular of the four expansion packs released to date, and hoped a bundled version with a discounted price might attract some waverers to the Sims 3 series.
