Do you think Sims will have more realistic jobs this time around? Like instead of opening up a newspaper and instantly being employed, they should have to go through some form of interview. Since (apparently) they are going to be having bosses, they should have their new personalities clash or mix during the interview. Perhaps a "jock" type Sim would have a hard time hiring a vegan . Or if you are friends with the interviewer, you have a higher chance of getting the job.

Also, it would be cool to have different branches of careers. Like if two Sims started out in the music track, the one with higher charisma, for example, went on to become a singer. One with more creativity got the option to become a song writer.

I don't know, I kind of like th bizarre jobs. I know I'm a big fan of realism and job inteviews would be a good idea. Or just some form of selection.

Yea! Job interviews would be awesome, although i'm not sure if you'd get to see your sim in the interview, but chance cards could maybe pop up and you have to answer them?

That is a good idea! They should add that into The Sims 3! Job interviews are pretty cool too.

I do know they have the option of doing tasks to get up in the job, someone mentioned bringing home dishes to wash for your boss if you were in the restaurant career.

the job interview thing sounds really cool! maybe they could do it like they do for private school and have someone come over and do an evaluation like that? ;D

Eh... I might not want the potential employer coming over. After all, if you are looking for a job, you probably need money, and therefore your house will be a bit... lacking.

Yeah...I guess, but I think just looking in the paper and getting it straight away is pretty rubbish!

Ya the interview is a good idea i wonder if ther r sum new kinds of jobs? The jobs in sims2 arent too realistic.. i mean u cant have more than 1 "president" or more than one "mayor". It wud be nice if each job had sumthin special to come with it, like havin unique choices as president or mayor
