Re: New to The Sims, basic questions
No, they work for all doors. Like, I always lock the back door, and have a burgular alarm at the front door. Car has an alarm, and the house is fenced. For:

1. To stop unwanted neighbours
2. Bugular traps Wink
3. I am safe from everything Smile

Re: New to The Sims, basic questions
I keep my yard fenced, and if there are gates leading into the yard (front or back) I have the gates locked so that PETS can't wander onto my property and dig it up and destroy my flowers!!!
