Re: Older players
I'm 15, been playing the Sims since I was about... 8? 9?

I think my friends get bored when they play sims. I mean, just about all my male friends don't like it that much (except Steven... o_0 ) and my female friends prefer Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

I'm going to get them interested in The Sims 3, though.

~The Great And Powerful Moz

tons of info about The Sims 3.
http://www.sims3.com/the_sims_3/check_this_out-t976.0.html

There's nothing to be embarassed about. I play, I tell people about what goes on in my game, and I'm dang proud of what I've accomplished in the past two years. I've even printed some of my better screencaps and showed them off. I'm having fun and I want the world to know it and have fun, too. Smile
LOL!!!You'll probably make wallet sized photos of your sims portraits.LOL!!!

Hmm... not a bad idea... (Turns on printer. Goes to fetch paper...Big Grin ;D

I do have a framed 5x7 portrait of my favorite on my desk but that's all at the moment. Smile

Re: Older players
I'm 18 and I don't mind saying to my fellow friends how much I LOVE the game.
Fortunately I'm not the only one, nor the youngest; my sister's 23 and she plays it all the time. ^^

And It is a good, warmless addiction. I'd be ashamed if I was a drug addict or something; I'm not ashamed because I love computer games.

Re: Older players
I am 51 and addicted to Sims (since the 1st Simcity). Most of my friends know I play, they all think I am nuts. And it is a topic they avoid like the plague.
Funny thing is when one of them wants their computer fixed for free, they can't wait to talk to me. Humans are so weird. ;D

It's not.
My cousin is 24 and he enjoys the game.

Don't worry, it's not a girly game, or a boring game; it's a virtual life simulation.
Some people prefer first-person shooters, other prefer RPGs, other prefer sim games... It doesn't matter.
