Re: Older players
I'm 15, been playing the Sims since I was about... 8? 9?
I think my friends get bored when they play sims. I mean, just about all my male friends don't like it that much (except Steven... o_0 ) and my female friends prefer Rock Band or Guitar Hero. I'm going to get them interested in The Sims 3, though. ~The Great And Powerful Moz

tons of info about The Sims 3.
http://www.sims3.com/the_sims_3/check_this_out-t976.0.html |

Re: Older players
I'm 18 and I don't mind saying to my fellow friends how much I LOVE the game.
Fortunately I'm not the only one, nor the youngest; my sister's 23 and she plays it all the time. ^^ And It is a good, warmless addiction. I'd be ashamed if I was a drug addict or something; I'm not ashamed because I love computer games. |

Re: Older players
I am 51 and addicted to Sims (since the 1st Simcity). Most of my friends know I play, they all think I am nuts. And it is a topic they avoid like the plague.
Funny thing is when one of them wants their computer fixed for free, they can't wait to talk to me. Humans are so weird. ;D |

Don't worry, it's not a girly game, or a boring game; it's a virtual life simulation. Some people prefer first-person shooters, other prefer RPGs, other prefer sim games... It doesn't matter. |
