Back when the base game was first released, before any EPs or SPs and before any patches. It was rare, but a normal woohoo COULD result in pregnancy. Happened to my sister fairly often, even thbough it was supposedly a rare event. It has only happened to me 2 times.
Your sim would have woohoo, then go about as usual, then all of a sudden ... baby bump! But there was never any lullaby or indication, prior to the bump, that the sim was pregnant, aside from their needs going down faster and the occasional puking.

Of the two times my sims were pregnant and their was no lullaby, only the first sim actually threw up, and got the thought bubble with the pacifier and ? in it. The second one, nothing. Just woohoo, then the next day there was a baby bump.

in the sims 3 it should be more likely then cuz ive never heard of that happening
