maybe rather than hair that grows and grows and grows your sim could start with the tidy hair you chose for them in CAS and after a while the hair gets slowly a little longer and more and more messy until they have to go to a salon to get it trimmed/tidied up  ;D

This sounds more practical.

Growing hair in the sims isn't such a bad idea, because i don't know if you know the sims cast away? If you play it on the playstation, thei're hair grows!  :Smile :-*

did anyone get ts2 seasons and did it come with the wishing well???  I couldnt find it. if someone knows where it is tell me

TS2 seasons wishing well somes when you have a great garden and call to be in the garden club, if ur garden is good enough they give u a wishing well.
or you could use the cheat: boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true   then click a sim. one of the choices should give you the well, and type it again after you get the well but put false instead of true b/c it makes ur computer run slower if you leave the cheat on.

ALSO- I completely agree with the hair growing concept. The sims should have the option of putting curlers in or staightening thier hair too. and self cutting, or going to a salon. A learned thing can be haircutting (idk how they will make skills and such, but i hope its by what you do, not if ur a good painter w/ high creativity you can play the drums great the first time you try, you know what I mean?). Hair should be able to be dyed any color for any style, not limited to mohawkss and stuff. Salons would have certain styles they can do, like in TS2 open for business sims can open up a salon, but they cant do EVERY style. Bed head is a kool idea too.

Yeah! I always thought that too! And growing taller. And it would also be cool if the kids could have loose teeth!

Growing hair would be hard to code.

I had an idea about hair, though... Not about growing hair, but about meshes and hair colours. I was thinking that when you create a sim, you choose a hair mesh, and then you pick from a spectrum of natural colours, and that would be your sim's genetic hair colour, and could not be changed, and which they pass on to their kids. Then, if you wanted to change the colour later, you'd choose from a different spectrum of colours, both natural and not, and you could dye their hair any colour you like. This would save a lot of hassle with the colour on a particular mesh not matching what you'd like it to be, like in The Sims 2. Maybe you'd even have a screen where you could literally paint a sim's hair in many colours, get high-lights or a punk-do.

Of course you'd be able to choose new meshes to the hair colours as well.
