Well, K.T. Morgan and a bunch of the authors I know from various classes, for starters. For the most part I don't really go by author, though. I go by how the individual book sounds to me.

Yes... I have to like the storyline and I have to like the writing style becuase if I don't then I cannot immerse myself in the story.

Exactly. And I've had experiences where I LOVED a book by a specific author, so I went to read another of their books...and it was absolutely dreadful. That's why I go mostly on the book itself these days.
