Thanks, I don't think many people have noticed, but it's been on SimsFans for a while now Wink as well as in TS3's website. But still, thanks Smile Karma to you.

(16-01-2009 04:21 AM)Scene23 link Wrote:I'm glad I finally got some info on the weddings in the game, thats cool you can rent a community lot and no more arcs, but I wonder if you can have more detailed weddings like a maid of honor or best man and stuff like that?

I do like how the father now can also have days off after the newborn's arrive instead of just the mother, thats a cool new add.

The only thing I do not like in the game, which is unrealistic to say the least is that sims can still just walk into your house according from what I've read over at Eden, and that you cannot lock doors, so I guess klepto sims will just be ripping you off from left to right and there is nothing you can do except buy a security alarm, but what happens if the police don't get there on time. Thats the only that sucks out of the new updates. Everything else I like, and I cannot wait for the game to be released already.  {clap} {clap}

Don't fret too much. From what I've read, sims cannot lock doors BUT- if you are not home, they cannot just come in your house. Eden said a pop up will appear and say where you are, and that you are not home. They would have to ring the doorbell. She also stated in her blog that kleptos will only steal when no one is looking. If no one is home, they may steal/rob you but they cannot get away with it if you have a trusty burgular alarm Smile

I'm excited for pregnancies but they turned out to be how I guessed. Hospital birth, comes home with baby. Nothing too special I'm guessing but I do have a comment on mating with ghosts. From what I understand is that you have to resurrect them first, mate with them, and then your child will be a ghost. However, you can do things to make your child human. And perhaps everything will be normal again. Though I'm not sure if the ressurrected ghost would be fully alive or have pale green skin lol.

yeah I had to read the blog again, I misunderstood what was written I thought they could just walk into your house.  {lol} {lol}, but I don't understand why you cannot lock doors, you could in Sims 2. Either way its okay. I figure the pregnancy would still be three days, but its cool that you can actually see the belly grow as the days pass on, instead of the belly jumping to get bigger like in the previous game.  Big Grin

Re: The Week of Sims 3 Camp - venus - 16-01-2009 10:44 AM

hey i know what they are probably doing!

its probably just like when we opened up the goth family in the sims 2 and didnt find bella goth but she was in colour in the family tree but this time in the sims 3 mrs. crumplebottom will probably be pregnant with her husbands baby ghost or have already given birth to the baby!

how else can they tell us that babys can be ghosts if both or one of their parents is a ghost?

I do like the new feature how you can hold the baby and talk on the phone at the same time, very cool.

Depending on personality, some sims will share a bed regardless of relationship, and or use the shower/potty if someone else is in the room.  (thats a big change, no more when a sim is sleeping in the bed, and someone they are not close to, they wake up and leave still tired  {lol})

I think that its cool that sims can carry on conversations while doing different things, that was cool.

Our "creature"  is the playable ghost it seems.
