Out of the three I think TS2 had the strongest impact.

While TS3 I admit offers more and is an improvement in many aspects, it also is unsatisfactory in a few areas where TS2 was not. TS2 also brought the most new things to the series - it was a complete step-up from the original, but without being obnoxious about it. It still had that Sims quirk.

Another reason I love TS2 was because that was the game that I had through the majority of my childhood. I was 11 when it came out and 16 when TS3 came out. I was really young when I played TS1 [even though I remember it clearly]. And I'm getting older now, & TS3 will be with my into adulthood. But TS2 is like the main one out of the series for me.

I think TS3 has too many problems and EA are trying to stick their noses in with bigging up the store, and making fancy game loaders that are actually tres annoying, and interfering with custom content. Trying to make things easier when actually we just liked it how it was with TS2. Or at least, I did.

Just bringing back some TS2 love. <3
While I will continue to play TS3 mainly, for now, I'll keep TS2 installed on the computer and will keep playing it time to time. Tons of respect to those who play it full-time, or never even left.

I always said I was never going to get TS3, then for a bit I considered it ... now, I'm going back to my original statement; I don't plan to get TS3.

TS2 just offers so much and is way more original than TS3.

no prob  and jen you should consider the sims 3 The sims 2 does indeed offer alot more with all the ep's and cc but the sims 3 isn't a bad game it has its issues just like every other game. maybe one of your friends has it? just play 1 day of the sims 3 (my rant to get to read your stories in the sims 3-I love your stories XD)

TS3 is just so different from TS2, its almost hard to compare the two. And yeah, TS3 had bugs, well, TS2 does also. It is almost impossible to find all of the bugs, because with this type of game, there's always a different way of doing something.

And customizing everything is nice, but there's so much to choose from, its almost daunting lol.

So yeah, I love TS3, but I also love TS2. It's just hard switching between the two.

I play both, and sometimes I'm playing TS2, and then I want them to do something, then I remember I can't do it in TS2. Likewise with TS3. It gets a little confuzzling
