Help Regarding Aging
Okay, 90 days seems like too short a life span for my tastes, so I am probably going to adjust the slider to give me more time with my Sims.  But that won't help me with one aspect of the game that has been bothering me.

My sim has gotten into romantic relationships with age-appropriate Sims only to have them advance to the next stage on him very rapidly.  The day after his wedding as an adult, his wife became an elder.  It's just creepy.

In Sims 2, I could use elixers to keep my married couples aging at roughly the same pace.  In Sims 3, I've read about ambrosia.  But that seems like a lot of work.  And I'm not always looking to reset the current age.  I just want to roll it back a few days at a time.

Is there anything in Sims 3 that works like the elixers in Sims 2?

Thanks!
