Nah, it doesn't hit the ground. They just spin around and a baby appears in their hands!

At least hte birthing process now is a bit more realistic than TS1.

ya in the sims 2 a messege poped up asing if you wanted a baby and if you said yes you could name it and than a crib would pop up
hopefully there will be improvment there
before TS2 came our i remember reading that pregnent women would got into labor and you need to call an ambulance and 3 days later the mother come home with a baby
mybe it'll be something like that in TS3 (except 3 hours not 3 days)

Yeah, originally an ambulance was going to take the  mother away but I guess something went wrong at the last minute.

I'm really hoping they'll just have a sign pop up and tell you when to go into hospital and then the mother can stay there for 2-3 days. And when she's about to give birth, the family should get phone calls letting them know and to get to the hospital immediately. I know we can't see what happens once they get in but still.

Lol. Wouldn't it be random if the mood wa sall happy for the baby to come, and then we get some graphic birthing scene. Then once the baby is born it all goes back to simslike happiness.
