Re: A little more brains!
Well i read this article and it said while Sims are like walking in on the sidewalk they can talk and if something or someone is in their way they will continue the conversation while moving to get where they need to go.Also the tiles will be smaller.

OMG IM WATCHING THE 100,000 SIMS COMMERCIAL RIGHT NOW!!
lol
anyway, the hold hands interaction should be available while walking, i alsways thought that would be sweet.

also, i think that drowning sims should have a small chance to get rescued, i.e., you can teach your pet how to rescue a drowning sim before hand, and when it happens, they can jump in the pool and drag them out.

sims can sorta have a "death meter". During a deadly situation, such as being trapped in a fire, drowning, or seeing a satalite come dow, the death meter/timer should comeout. If you can't rescue the person before time runs out, they're dead!

Re: A little more brains!
That sounds like an amazing idea. Being able to rescue one another from death situations even before death appears. Then you won't necessarily have to play the guess and pick game with death. Although, I admit that it was fun playing it. Hahaha. But uh, the ability to save one another will boost the interaction gameplay between the sims in a whole different level, it should be interesting to see. It should also be determined by how nice or courageous a sim is and if they are cowardly they'd be less likely to throw themselves in a possible life-threatening experience, unless of course their loved ones were in danger.

Wouldn't be romantic for a sim to fall in love with his savior in the local pool after almost drowning? Hahahahaha, now that would be a story to tell.

Re: A little more brains!
It would!  I'd love to see interactions change depending on personality types. I never let my sims stargaze or watch clouds since I found out they could die. If I had the death meter, I'd let them!

And thats right, if there was a cowardly sim, he should resist saving them, and as a ghost, the dead person should hate them thoroughly. Smile

That would be funny! Also, depending on weight, you could die trying to save them, i.e., jumping in the pool and also drowning, and pushing someone out of the path of the crashing U.F.O thing, only to be crushed by it yourself. That would be funny....Smile

I can't wait!!

Lol! That would be funny. They also said something like "wanting your boss dead could be a dream or somthing" if they murder them (if it's possible) the ghost could torture and be angry at the murderer too. :o

Re: A little more brains!
haha i wonder if there is a sugarcoated way to kill them lmao. anyhow i would love sims to be a bit more educated on their own. I'd like them to know what they want and go after it in a sense that still leaves me in control but lets me know that they really want it and are eager to accomplish it ya know?

I'll bet there is a sugar-coated death, I'm positive there will be. I also hope Sims will die in there sleep, like, that's a really peaceful and pleasant way to leave the world, I think. And sometimes it's more dramatic than a satalite dropping from the sky and squishing you will ever be.

I wish the death scenes were a little bit more regal. I was kind of sad when my first elder died. He was one of my favorite sims ever, and he only started out with 20,000. His lifetime want was to earn 100,000 which he completed. By the end of his life he had a beautifully decorated house with a wife and two kids. Then he died by being handed a freaking fruit drink.

I think death scenes should vary for sims. Goofy sims if they die in platinum aspiration or whatever the equivalent will be could like the whole death luau thing. However more serious sims could go off real stately. Whereas family oriented sims would make sure to say their final goodbyes to their family.

Re: A little more brains!
I agree. Most of the deaths are pretty crazy and not regal at all. Not that I hate these kinds of deaths usually, but they are not suitable for all Sims. I like what you said about family-orientated Sims saying their goodbyes to their family. I can imagine everybody gathered around the dying Sims' bed, and even though it sounds rather sad, it would be a much more peaceful way to die. My problem with this is, how would the get her/him out of the bed? They'd have to get an ambulance with a stretcher or whatever they are called and take her/him away in an ambulance. But then, what about the grave? It's not just for this kind of death, but seriously, are they going to continue the vanishing act followed by a randomly appearing gravestone? I hated that.
