Re: Sims 3 Construction Process?????????
That would suck when you are the kind of person that builds a house and moves in a family right after building to play them immediately. Imagine having to wait to play that anticipated family.

That would stink. I might just move my family into a pre built house, build my own custom house, and move them to that house as thier real home if that were the case.

I think people's playing styles would adjust pretty quickly. I'm definitely like that, but with TS3 I'm going to throw out (for the most part) all my playing habits and just start over. Whole new game, whole new way to play!

that is true, just like if there were no related games before this you would just play it no questions asked, like with stand alone games that are made only once. It might take some getting used to but eventually it will be no big deal.

oh wow... im excited~!!! XD
i think its a neat idea. it would be hilarious to see sims suffering [not really..] and going out of their way because part of their house is under construction... or will they be forced to rent a hotel [if there is one available, i doubt it...] and stay there until the construction is complete?

Wow it would be neat if this is true. I haven't caught onto this while reading the news. I wouldn't want to wait, but this would be more realistc and it could be just a part of the game process.

I guess if you don't have the patience, you'll just have to play a pre made home. At least you can spend less time building or waiting for it to be built and more time designing.

It would also be cool if your sim could get a temporary constiction job. Maybe he or she is a slacker and can pick up the paper to list temp jobs in the area, surely new sim townies will be building houses or whatnot, and if a major weather storm happened and destroyed part of the house, they can rebuild or add on a room etc.

New 17" Laptop with wireless printer/scanner combo-$1,400
Sims 3 Pre-order-$70
College Books-$500
Being envied by your friends while they cram for exams and you play TS3- PRICELESS!!!!

Forget Visa, Mastercard, and American Express- it pays to Discover!!!!

Re: Sims 3 Construction Process?????????
Then since they are going to take out those annoying, over-occuring needs, I can and will play differently (matter in fact, a lot of people will). People been cheating for money, most of the time, because it was too hard to focus on their careers and needs. This construction thing would cause me to play differently too. I was thinking about this for a bit, and hey, it would be more realistic. I will get used to it. Then if you think about it, the time you probably have to wait is in sims days.

This is soooo INPORTANT you allllll must listen! I know this is very true, because rember in the sims 3 article it sais that all the lots on your neighborhood so when you build a new lot and go to another lot for a while when you go back to the other lot it will be built! see how all that makes sense!

Re: Sims 3 Construction Process?????????
yeah you know what i kind of actually like the idea of the construction process i've let it "simmer" (im lame i know) for a little while..and it could be pretty interesting..and i wouldnt mind it so much. Its not like your sim cant explore the neighborhood while the house is under construction and visit neighbors work..etc...
